PLEASE NOTE: Units are pre-calibrated at the factory for a nominal sensing resistance of 300 ohms. The coarse adjustment procedures should only be conducted if unit has been grossly mis-adjusted.

Course adjustment procedures:

Step 1 - turn off 24 Volts AC supply power at source.

Step 2 - open cover, loosen screws & disconnect sensor wires from connector on right side.

Step 3 - attach calibration key to sensor connection of the circuit you are calibrating and tighten screws. (Top connector for right side, bottom for left)

Step 4 - turn on 24vac supply at source.

Step 5 - switch auto/manual switch up to auto (Right switch for top, left switch for bottom)

Step 6 - adjust blue Threshold on same circuit (top for right side, bottom for left) Counter-clockwise until red Milk light is lit.

Step 7 - press reset/start button and turn Threshold clockwise until red Milk light is blinking at same rate as green Run light.

Step 8 - adjust other circuit in the same manner if required.

Step 9 - turn off 24vac supply at source.

Step 10 - unscrew & remove calibration key (store in box)

Step 11 - reconnect sensor wires and tighten screws.

Step 12 - secure cover, turn on power & test unit for proper operation.

Fine adjustment procedures:

These adjustments with set the unit come-off Time (Earlier or Later)

Step 1: while unit is in operation (on cow & working) toward end of cycle, if unit is coming off too soon turn Threshold 1/4 to 1/2 turn counter-clockwise and run the unit while milking another cow on it.

Step 2 : if unit detaching too late turn Threshold 1/4 to 1/2 turn clockwise until red milk light extinguishes and unit comes off eight seconds later.
